Confectionary Food Processing Plant
Located in La Paila, Zarzal, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and advanced production systems, this facility manufactures candies, marshmallows, gummies, chewing gum, chocolates, and snacks. It is recognized as the largest confectionery plant in Colombia and one of the most important facilities in the world for indoor hard candy production. The plant is supported by a solar farm located 5 km away, enabling 100% of its energy consumption to come from renewable sources. It is also certified in Zero Waste, energy efficiency, and environmental management.
Baked Goods Food Processing Plant
Located in Santander de Quilichao, Cauca, Colombia.
This modern industrial complex produces sweet and savory cookies, wafers, wafer rolls, and cakes under the highest quality standards. In 2010, it was designated as a Special Permanent Free Trade Zone, strengthening Colombina’s competitiveness in both domestic and international cookie markets. The facility was also the first Colombina plant to incorporate a solar farm, consisting of 4,890 solar panels installed across 22,000 square meters adjacent to the plant. In addition, it holds certifications in energy efficiency, environmental management, and Zero Waste.
Condiments & Preserves & Dairy-based Desserts Food Processing Plant
Located in Tuluá, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
This facility produces sauces, preserves, dairy desserts, and fruit purees. It features state-of-the-art technology and a bioclimatic design that reduces energy consumption by 10%. The plant is certified in Zero Waste, Carbon Neutrality, and environmental management.
Frozen Dessert Food Processing Plants
Located in Itagüí, Antioquia, and Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
Colombina operates two modern production facilities that manufacture water- and milk-based popsicles, cones, cups, desserts, ice cream, and products for scooping. Both facilities hold the Zero Waste Gold Certification as well as environmental management certifications.
Confectionary & Baked Goods Food Processing Plant
Located in Escuintla, Guatemala.
Since 2001, this modern industrial complex has supplied Central America and the Caribbean with highly recognized confectionery products, cookies, and cakes. The facility features a rooftop solar energy system that provides 20% of its energy consumption from renewable sources. It is also certified under the Zero Waste Program and maintains certification for its environmental management system.
‘Fiesta Cookie’ Confectionary Food Processing Plant
Located in Alcalá de Henares, Spain.
This facility supplies the European, African, and Middle Eastern markets with marshmallows, hard candies, chewy candies, and licorice products manufactured according to Colombina’s highest quality standards.
