Environmental Performance

Approach: We aim to promote sustainable practices throughout the entire supply chain, generating a commitment to mitigate environmental impacts, strengthening the efficient use of natural resources, and working hand in hand with our stakeholders to contribute to the sustainability of the planet.

We have waste management programs
that we address comprehensively through reduction, reuse, and utilization. This approach has enabled us to obtain Zero Waste certification for all our production plants in Colombia.

We treat wastewater In 100% of our production plants.

Our progress toward the energy transitionWe have two solar farms and rooftop panels at our plant in Guatemala. Currently, 87% of our global electricity comes from renewable sources.

We have water-saving and efficient water usage programs, as well as strengthening our organizational culture by raising awareness and promoting greater consciousness among our employees about the importance of water conservation.

We work with cleaner fuels in our manufacturing operation. 92% of our operation utilizes cleaner fossil fuels such as natural gas.

We measure the carbon footprint (Scopes 1, 2, and 3). We report our management through the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Additionally, we align with frameworks such as the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures.

Our packaging strategy focuses on 4 pillars: Reduce, recycle, use recycled material, and reuse.

Percentage of cage-free eggs used

Throughout 2024, we made progress in reviewing formulas and searching for new suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of cage-free eggs, maintaining a 40% achievement of our goal. In 2025, we aim for 60% of the eggs used to be cage-free, reaffirming our commitment to a complete transition by 2027.

Promoting Competitiveness

Approach: Fostering competitiveness and having the best relationships with our suppliers is a constant objective to achieve mutual growth and contribute to the progress of the territories where we are present.

Main Initiatives:

Big Brother Program: We transfer best practices to our suppliers through a mentorship program. So far, 152 participants have engaged in all our modules, including small and medium suppliers, clients, agricultural suppliers, and entrepreneurs.

Supplier Certification Program: Currently, we have 71 certified suppliers. Our goal is to develop some suppliers in food safety.

We evaluate the environmental and social impact of suppliers: Through the Sistema B tool, we have assessed more than 540 suppliers since the program began. Our goal is to evaluate over 200 suppliers in 2025.

House Acquisition: We accompany and advise our employees in the process of acquiring housing. In the last few years, 1,405 people have acquired their own homes.
