The company is launching a new brand of chewy and soft candies, which will be marketed from the second half of the year through the main e-commerce platforms in the United States. They project sales of around 2 million dollars in the first year of distribution in major retail chains.

Colombina, as a global food company, constantly seeks to captivate consumers with innovation and the taste of its products. That's why it is preparing the launch of the ChewzMe brand for the second half of 2023, with a portfolio of chewy and soft candies, adding to the brands in the United States market.

For teens and tweens seeking experiences that capture their newfound sense of freedom and independence, ChewzMe arrives with its double meaning of "choose me" or "chew me" and the

tagline "What CHEWZ waitin' for?" With ChewzMe, it challenge and invite people to live new experiences, dare to do and be what they have always wanted. We aim to be present among the different moments of life from this generation, leaving lasting memories through a portfolio of fun shapes, bold flavors, and mind- blowing textures.

ChewzMe comes with a portfolio of delicious gummy candies in the shape of turtles, with three flavors and three textures, as well as sour chewy bars with crunchy candy pieces.

Undoubtedly, it's an explosion of flavor for a market where 73% of Gen-Z says they are willing to explore new candies from new or traditional brands, and 72% of consumers prefer gummies as their favorite candy, followed by soft candies consumed by 70% of the population (Non-chocolate), according to the National Confectioners Association - NCA-Getting to know candy consumers 2022.

Mauricio Escobar, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Colombina, says, "With the arrival of ChewzMe, we continue to innovate with textures and flavors to respond to the consumer trends of the younger generation, and above all, to continue winning over the American consumer with a portfolio and communication that meet the needs of a more international market."

According to the NCA, 62% of buyers occasionally or frequently look for confectionery products they have never bought before, representing a great opportunity for the company in this market.

Finally, it's worth noting that ChewzMe is manufactured in a production plant that operates on 100% renewable energy, demonstrating the company's commitment to sustainable products.
